Designworks designed and developed six WordPress websites for West Lakes Multi Academy Trust. The six sites include: Arlecdon, Dearham, Flimby, Thornhill, West Lakes Academy and West Lakes Multi Academy Trust.
The redesign brings together the Trust, primary school and secondary school sites, so there is a consistent look and messaging across all web sites. Although there is a uniformity across the sites, the schools’ individuality is retained with the use of their colours and identity.
A key part of the redesign was to improve the visitor’s overall experience and to provide quick and easy access to information. This was achieved through a simplified navigation and the use of mega menus to contain the pages relevant to that section.
