The Western Excellence in Learning and Leadership (WELL) Project is committed to achieving and sharing sustainable excellence in Learning and Leadership in Allerdale and Copeland schools.
Designworks worked with the client, Cumbria County Council, in developing an identity, marketing collateral and website for WELL.
The identity features two linked shapes that form an arrow. The shapes are a stylised representation of the Allerdale and Copeland coastline. The arrow points west and symbolises raising standards in teaching and enabling pupils to reach their full potential. The strong, contemporary palette uses colours associated with the area’s geography. The bright hues reflect a bright future and the bold typography emphasises a strong local economy built on the highest quality education.
