new food and drink pocket guide. The solicitation process has started and we aim

Cumbria Chamber's
Climate Change and Carbon Agenda Exhibition ranged from designing recycled pens
to outdoor banners. More of these events will be happening across the county in
the coming months.

in the UN Building

We worked with Warton based company Communication Point in producing banners,
leaflets, posters and invites for an event at the United Nations building in New
York. The event highlighted the need for accessibility
to drugs, appropriate testing and follow-up care for children with HIV.

LDNPA cycling kit

Work has
started on designing the Lake District National Park cycling kit. We're really
looking forward to seeing this being produced and trying it out.
Gillam's Tearoom

With
reviews in the Guardian, Times and interviews on 6 Music, Gillam's Tearoom is
leading the way in how to get your name out to the nation. Their unique take on
the tearoom of yesteryear is balanced with their modern menu of vegetarian and
gluten free dishes. The
leaflets that we've produced captures this blending of
old and new and will help promote the business even further.
Eden District Council's Visitor Guide

This is our third year of producing the guide and 2010 will see a fresh design
with a new concept. We've got some great photography from shoots in Alston and
Kirkby Stephen and
aim to show this
beautiful area of Cumbria to its full potential.
Cumbria Green Build

As an environmentally aware company, we are keen to
support businesses, organisations and events that are involved with
environmental sustainability. When CAfS (Cumbria Action for Sustainability)
approached us to design, and programme a booking and content management system
for the Cumbria Green Build website then we were happy to oblige. The new site
will allow users to browse by location, date or type of sustainable energy that
they are interested in and then book online.
Whitehaven to St Bees Coast
- August 09
From green to red, as Designworks, the National Trust,
Natural England and the RSPB work together to promote the red cliffs and coastal
strip between Whitehaven and St Bees Head. As well as design and marketing for
the area, we'll be involved in project management and coordinating with all the
partners involved. We're currently at the branding stage which will lead onto
branding guidelines, interpretation panels and marketing material. We'll keep
you posted on how the project is developing through
Twitter.
Breweries of
Cumbria

We've been working with CAMRA
on a brewery map for Cumbria that is based on the design for the London tube
map. 26 breweries and 118 beers are featured in this informative and alternative

Summer Internship

We've got Alysha Spencer, a student from Lancaster University who is in her
second year studying Advertising and Marketing. Alysha will be gaining
experience in the industry and also providing our clients with FREE
marketing help.
